Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies Completes 5000 Registrations on E-Learning Platform • 1400 Emiratis among those registered

Dubai-UAE xx August, 2020– The Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS), has announced that over 5,000 banking and finance professionals have registered on the EIBFS Insight – the first-ever specialized online learning platform to facilitate best-in-class financial education outside the physical classroom – within a month of its launch.
The registered trainees included 1400 UAE Nationals.
The Insight platform is the Institute’s pivotal step towards enhancing its value proposition to its customers and to offer a holistic e-learning experience. Curated completely in-house by EIBFS, the platform is designed in a user-friendly way to help upskill those in the banking and finance field with a blended format of interactive learning programs.
The platform currently has a roster of over 100 courses which includes full-fledged programs to focused learning series short-term courses, designed to impart basic to advanced sills to banking and finance professionals. The courses come in various modules with bite-sized videos to make educational consumption easy and light. Through Insight, EIBFS seeks to ensure uninterrupted learning and upskilling during a time when in-person training and education is difficult.
The pandemic has increased the pace of acceptance of e-learning and online education and EIBFS Insight has created a well-researched and planned space for trainees to continue their education.
The courses on the Insight platform span functional skills and soft skills development across the broader categories of fintech, data analytics, corporate banking and management, trade finance, compliance and anti-money laundering, risk management, Islamic banking and business communication, as well as treasury and investments and personal development.
The focus on self-management, leadership training and personal development indicate the growing criticality of these skills in the region’s maturing banking industry. Furthermore, with COVID-19 dramatically altering the industry and the job skills needed, these programs will prove vital to banking professionals seeking to reskill to stay relevant.

The Institute has also begun testing advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to initiate advanced, adaptive learning which will customize each user’s experience and offer progress insights.
